Cory Schneider stops 23 as Moose beat Rampage 4-3 in shootout victory

WINNIPEG - Cory Schneider made 23 saves as the Manitoba Moose edged the San Antonio Rampage 4-3 in a shootout Saturday in American Hockey League play.

Tied at three with no winner scored in overtime, Marco Rosa, Dan Sexton and Michael Grabner each scored in the shootout against Rampage goaltender Justin Pogge.

Schneider allowed just one goal on Kyle Turris for the win.

Guillaume Desbiens scored twice during regulation and Nikita Kashirsky added a single for the Moose (25-22-6).

Matt Watkins, Chad Kolarik and Turris each scored for the Rampage (21-20-9), while Pogge finished with 25 saves.
