Cory Schneider turns aside 34 as Manitoba Moose edge Texas Stars 3-2

WINNIPEG - Cory Schneider stopped 34 shots as the Manitoba Moose rallied to beat the Texas Stars 3-2 in American Hockey League play Thursday.

Marco Rosa gave the Moose (20-14-4) an early 1-0 lead just 1:59 into the first, but the Stars' Colton Sceviour tied it up heading into the second. Travis Morin put the Stars (20-11-5) up 2-1, but Manitoba rallied behind goals from Michael Grabner and Brian Salcido to take the eventual win.

Schneider held off the Stars in the third with 15 saves.

Texas goaltender Matt Climie made 26 saves for the loss.
