Coyotes defeat Dinamo Riga 3-1 in final pre-season game before opener in Prague

RIGA, Latvia - Petr Prucha scored the go-ahead goal with two seconds left in the second period, and the Phoenix Coyotes went on to beat Dinamo Riga 3-1 on Wednesday.

Taylor Pyatt and Lee Stempniak scored the Coyotes' other goals in the team's final pre-season game before facing the Boston Bruins in the season opener this weekend in Prague.

Prucha's power-play goal was assisted by Radim Vrbata. The two players will have the rare treat of opening the regular season at home in the Czech Republic.

Mark Hartigan scored Dinamo Riga's only goal midway through the second period.

The Coyotes dominated the game, outshooting the Latvian club 39-19 in front of a sold-out crowd of 10,500.
