After being Wayne Gretzky's biggest fan, I am confused with his refusal to show up for the Coyotes camp.

With all that’s gone on in Phoenix this summer, one would hope he would put the team ahead of his personal business.

The youngsters that make up the majority of that roster need him to teach them all what makes a winner, not leave them scratching their heads and wondering why the greatest player of all time is abandoning them at the time they need him most.

Shame on you, Wayne.
