Coyotes recall David Schlemko, Brett MacLean from AHL affiliate in San Antonio

GLENDALE, Ariz. - The Phoenix Coyotes recalled defenceman David Schlemko and forward Brett MacLean from AHL affiliate the San Antonio Rampage on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old Schlemko has played in 17 games for the Coyotes this season and has one goal and four assists. He had three goals and 12 assists in 36 games with San Antonio.

The 21-year-old MacLean, who was a second-round draft pick of Phoenix in 2007, leads San Antonio in goals (24) and points (45) this season. He also represented the Rampage at the 2009 AHL all-star game.

Phoenix is scheduled to resume practices Wednesday as the Olympic break winds down. The Coyotes host St. Louis on March 2.
