Craig Conroy's Fan Shootout answers
Do you miss Canada, and are you enjoying the nice weather in California?
Sherry Purvis, Oceanside, Calif.
I definitely miss the coverage and the fans in Canada, but here in LA, it's kinda laid back, there's the nice weather, and we've got a great group of guys. And it's always fun when your new team does well.
Which player do you enjoy playing against the most in the NHL?
Chris Brnjas, Fergus, Ont.
Steve Yzerman. He was one of my favorites growing up, and it's always fun to play against him.
Who is your all-time favorite unsung hero of hockey?
Kevin David, Waterford, Wis.
Scott Pellerin. He came, he'd play on broken feet, he did a lot of the ugly stuff that doesn't show up on the score sheet. We played together in St. Louis, and he's my unsung hockey hero.
What's the difference between the Kings' playing group and the Flames' playing group? Was it an easy transition for you?
Matthew Witkowski, Melbourne, Australia
One of the reasons I came to the Kings was that the teams seemed very similar to me when I played against them. It worked out great, because then they signed Demitra, and Frolov was here, so it was an easy transition.
A lot of the new composite sticks are breaking in different ways than the old wooden ones. Do you worry about them breaking at critical times?
Christopher Tote, Warden, Ill.
I broke, like, six on faceoffs in Calgary. You don't think about it until it happens. I've been using the Easton lately, and I've had better luck.
What has been the most incredible moment in your career so far?
Chris Pritchard, Toronto
The Stanley Cup playoff run in Calgary. Going into Game 7Â…it breaks your heart to lose, but it was still amazing.
