D'Agostini's overtime winner propels Hamilton past Binghamton 3-2

HAMILTON - Matt D'Agostini scored 1:11 into overtime as the Hamilton Bulldogs earned a 3-2 victory over the Binghamton Senators on Wednesday night in the American Hockey League.

Ryan Russell and Ajay Baines had regulation goals for the Bulldogs (15-15-1-5), who have won five of their past six games. Scott May and Lawrence Nycholat replied for the Senators (16-16-4-2).

Making his first start for Hamilton this season, goaltender Carey Price turned aside 22 shots to preserve the victory. Jeff Glass made 33 saves in a losing effort for Binghamton.

The Bulldogs finished 0-for-6 with the man advantage going, while the Senators went 1-for-1 on the power play.
