Dallas Stars re-signed winger Jussi Jokinen to US$3.625-million, two-year deal

"Jussi has provided our team two consecutive productive seasons and we look for him to continue to grow his game with our club over the next two years," Stars GM Doug Armstrong said in a statement. "We believe in his abilities to improve our hockey club and are happy to have him under contract for the next two seasons."

Jokinen, 24, had 48 points (14-34) and a plus-8 rating in 82 games last season. He is also one the NHL's top shootout specialists, going 15-for-25 since it was adopted two seasons ago.
