David Pastrnak had himself a pretty amazing World Junior Championship for the Czech Republic, and he followed that up with a call up to the Boston Bruins.

If his goal tonight against the Tampa Bay Lightning – the first place in the Eastern Conference Lightning – is any indication, he doesn’t want anything to do with being sent back to the AHL’s Providence Bruins.

That’s Tampa Bay defenseman Matt Carle who Pastrnak walked around, and Ben Bishop is certainly no slouch in goal. This is the kind of goal you’d expect out of a veteran, having the presence of mind to pull the puck all the way across the goalmouth before tucking it in.

Pastrnak’s goal on Tuesday was the third he’s scored in the last two games, and he added another to start the third period. On Saturday, he potted two goals against the Philadelphia Flyers in a 3-1 Bruins win.
