Desert Dogs deserve better

For two months, all I've been reading about the Coyotes and Phoenix is how bad a hockey market we are and how the team is losing millions year.

The Canadians have been particularly brutal, comparing years of Hamilton sellouts to our "empty" arena.

Ken Campbell's "In the Slot" column in the July 6 issue hit the nail on the head. Our problems are the result of poor ownership, management, and team performance, period!

Very few teams, be they in the U.S. or Canada, would have been in any different position than we're in here in Phoenix.

Thanks for pointing it out to your biased readership. I hope Jerry Reinsdorf is successful in his attempt to buy the team and keep them here where they belong!
