Desert oasis

If you think letting the Phoenix Coyotes move to Hamilton is a smart move, guess again.

There are two factors that everyone is overlooking: the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres.

Give credit to the Montreal Canadiens for putting their American League affiliate within the shadows of Maple Leaf Nation, but both Toronto and Buffalo wouldn't want another NHL team in their backyards.

Also, it's an insult for cities such as Winnipeg and Quebec to be bypassed, if the league is looking to expand back to the Great White North.

If the Coyotes are to be successful in the Valley of the Sun, then maybe it's time to take lessons from their neighbors in Glendale; the Arizona Cardinals.
