Destination Penticton: Canucks to hold training camp in Okanagan city

VANCOUVER - The Vancouver Canucks will hold their NHL training camp in Penticton, B.C., this fall.

The team has scheduled a news conference for Wednesday in Penticton where Laurence Gilman, the Canucks' assistant general manager, and Stan Smyl, the senior adviser to general manager Mike Gillis, will make the announcement.

Camp will open Sept. 12.
