Detroit Red Wings re-sign restricted free-agent Eaves to one-year contract

DETROIT - The Detroit Red Wings have re-signed forward Patrick Eaves to a one-year contract.

Terms were not disclosed Wednesday. Eaves had 12 goals and 22 assists in 65 games for the Red Wings last season, his first with the franchise.

Eaves has scored 57 times and has 112 points in his career with Detroit, Carolina and Ottawa since the Senators drafted him 29th overall in 2003.
