Devils' Jamie Langenbrunner, Bryce Salvador out for Game 5

NEWARK, N.J. - New Jersey Devils right wing Jamie Langenbrunner and defenceman Bryce Salvador are expected to miss Game 5 of the Devils' first-round playoff series with the Carolina Hurricanes.

Langenbrunner, who had a career-high 29 goals this past season, will miss his third straight game with a lower body injury suffered in Game 2.

Salvador hurt his left knee in the second period of the Hurricanes' 4-3 Game 4 win on Tuesday night. Andy Greene will replace him in the lineup.

Devils coach Brent Sutter said there is a chance Langenbrunner will return in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference series, which is tied 2-2 heading into Thursday night's game at New Jersey.
