Doan, Coyotes looking to sweep home-and-home series

Los Angeles (14-15-6) at Phoenix (17-14-5), 9:00 pm EST

GLENDALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Shane Doan loves playing the Los

Angeles Kings.

Doan seeks another good performance Saturday against when the

Phoenix Coyotes face the Kings in the second game of a

home-and-home series.

The 32-year-old captain scored a goal and set up another to lead

the Coyotes to a 2-1 victory over Los Angeles on Friday.

Doan has more career points against the Kings than any other

team, notching 22 goals and 35 assists against Los Angeles

during his 13 NHL seasons - all spent with the Coyotes

franchise.

"We play them a lot," Doan said. "It's a tough building for me

to play in it seems, but somehow I've found points."

Peter Mueller ended a 21-game goal drought and Ilya Bryzgalov

made 24 saves for the Coyotes, who improved to 5-1-3 over their

last nine games. Bryzgalov is 6-0-0 against Los Angeles in his

career.

Defenseman Peter Harrold netted his fourth career goal and

Jonathan Quick turned aside 24 shots for the Kings, who have

lost five of their last six.
