Don's got it all wrong

I just watched Coach’s Corner and listened to Don Cherry talk about how much he likes Eric Nystrom (65 GP, nine points, minus-2, 85 PIM) and how much he dislikes Alex Ovechkin (70 GP, 94 points, plus-11, 68 PIM).

We all agree his celebrations are excessive, but there is more to hockey than just being tough, or acting tough.

It’s the creativity and the finesse that make hockey great. All hockey players are tough, Don, it’s tougher to score goals than it is to fight.

Cherry has had a great career in hockey, its his attitude that’s minor league.
