Don't forget Giroux for Calder consideration

I have to disagree with The Hockey News for the first time in a while.

Reading up on Steven Stamkos being the clear cut Calder choice is pretty laughable. Claude Giroux is one of the most underrated prospects and will be playing for my favorite team next year, the Philadelphia Flyers.

He had three 100+ point seasons in the QMJHL, not to mention 51 points in 19 playoff games. This proves Giroux is a better player than Stamkos, statistically.

As many of you might not know, there will be a Calder champion in Philadelphia and a new French Connection (Briere, Gagne, Giroux).
