Ducks look to maintain momentum vs. Sabres

Anaheim (29-27-5) at Buffalo (31-23-6) 7:00 p.m. EST

BUFFALO, New York (Ticker) -- A team meeting led to a rousing

win in their previous game. Whether the Anaheim Ducks can

maintain that level of play remains to be seen.

The Ducks will look to make it two in a row when they visit the

Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday.

Anaheim held a team meeting prior to Saturday's contest in

Columbus after a three-game losing streak had it in danger of

falling to .500. The players seemed to get the message right

from the start, scoring two goals in both the first and second

periods en route to a 5-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Corey Perry had a goal and two assists for his first three-point

game since November 19 and Chris Pronger snapped a seven-game

scoreless drought with a power-play goal in the first period.

Buffalo has won two of its last three and is coming off a 4-2

win over the New York Rangers on Saturday. The victory came at

a price, though, as star goaltender Ryan Miller suffered a high

ankle sprain in the third period.

Miller is out indefinitely, leaving goaltending duties to backup

Patrick Lalime, who allowed both goals Saturday after entering

the contest.
