Eastern Conference finals to start Saturday in Boston when Bruins play Lightning

BOSTON - The NHL has announced the schedule for the Eastern Conference finals between the Bruins and Lightning.

Games 1 and 2 will be in Boston on Saturday and Tuesday. The series shifts to Tampa Bay for Games 3 and 4 on May 19 and 21. If necessary, the teams will return to Boston on May 23 for Game 5.

Game 6 would be in Tampa Bay on May 25 and Game 7 in Boston on May 27.

The Bruins have been idle since completing their sweep of the Philadelphia Flyers on Friday. The Lightning finished off the Washington Capitals last Wednesday.
