ECHL’s Bakersfield Condors have one jersey to rule them all
There are few things in hockey greater than minor league jersey promotions, and the newest Bakersfield Condors jersey is no exception. The ECHL’s Condors will be donning
Lord of the Rings/Hobbit jerseys on Dec. 27, which will feature, “hobbits, dragons, fire and much much more!” This latest jersey comes on the heels of the Condors
Seinfeld “Puffy Shirt” jerseys that the team wore in November.
On top of fans that have gone to the nearby Maya Cinemas to catch the latest
Hobbit film getting 2-for-1 admission, the Middle Earth-themed jerseys will also be auctioned off to benefit the California Living Museum, a zoo in Bakersfield, Calif. We have to say that the threads Jonathan Lessard and Ben Lindemulder are sporting are some of the busiest jerseys we’ve ever seen, but you have to applaud just how dedicated the Condors are to keeping the theme in tact. Right down to the script on the inside of the ring from the films, it looks like Bakersfield made sure to include every detail they could. If the jerseys aren’t enough to tickle the fancy of fans in California’s ninth largest city, the Friday, Dec. 26 game will feature a big-ticket giveaway, as 10 fans will take home HP Chromebook 14 laptops. If fans are lucky, maybe the infamous condor will show up, which remains
one of the funniest moments in hockey history.
