Eddie Lack makes 33 saves as Manitoba Moose get past Peoria Rivermen 4-1

WINNIPEG - Eddie Lack made 33 saves Tuesday as the Manitoba Moose beat the Peoria Rivermen 4-1 in the American Hockey League.

Lee Sweatt, Tommy Maxwell, Sergei Shirokov and Jonas Andersson scored for Manitoba (17-10-4), while Bill Sweatt picked up two assists.

Derek Nesbitt had the only goal for Peoria (20-10-3), while Ben Bishop made 41 saves in defeat.

Leading 2-0 after two periods, Manitoba put the game away early in the third as Andersson buried a Guillaume Desbiens' rebound past Bishop at 2:06.

Maxwell made it 4-0 on the power play at 9:48 before Nesbitt ruined Lack's shutout bid at 14:08.
