Edmonton Oilers recall defenceman Colten Teubert from AHL's Oklahoma City Barons

EDMONTON - The Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Colten Teubert from the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League on an emergency basis.

The 22-year-old has played in 43 games this season with the Barons, recording 10 points (two goals, eight assists) and 58 penalty minutes.

The six-foot-four, 195-pound White Rock, B.C., native also has played 20 games with the Oilers, collecting one assist.

Teubert was acquired from Los Angeles along with draft picks in exchange for forward Dustin Penner on Feb. 28, 2011.
