Evan Brophey scores winner as Icehogs shutout Marlies 1-0

ROCKFORD, Ill. - Evan Brophey's first period goal held up as the game winner, and the Rockford Icehogs beat the Toronto Marlies 1-0 in AHL action Saturday.

Corey Crawford made 24 saves for the shutout as the Icehogs won their fifth in six games.

The Icehogs (21-14-0-4) are eight points behind the first-place Milwaukee Admirals in the West Division.

Justin Pogge stopped 21 shots, and the Marlies dropped to 20-15-1-3.
