Is it easier to start on short notice, because you have less time to think about it, or long notice?

- Devin Cornia, Egg Harbor Township, N.J.

Short notice. Even when you're on the bench, you can just hop in there and not think too much about it; just play the game you love.

How do you increase the speed of your reflexes?

- Adam Stankiewicz, Guelph, Ont.

I play around with tennis balls, play some ping-pong; do fun things that improve your hand-eye co-ordination.

What is it like being paired up with Niklas Backstrom to form a couple of very good shutdown goalies?

- Brad Gerrow, Little Britain, Ont.

I don't think I could pick a better teammate to play with. He's a nice guy and it's an honor to play with one of the best goaltenders in the league.

Do you have any special pre-game preparations?

- Jake McGhee, Woodslee, Ont.

I'll listen to music on my iPod - country music. I'd rather be relaxed than hyped up.

Who inspired you to be a goalie?

- Serge Perez, Laredo, Tex.

My dad. He's the main reason that I'm in the NHL and he inspired me. I played out until I was 14 and then I became a goalie. I still have a lot to learn, but my dad has always been there.

How do you stop a puck in traffic when you can’t see it?

- Aly Farhat, Edmonton

You've got to put yourself in a position to see at least part of it. If you just catch the last of where it's coming from, then use that. If there's a big buy in front of you, get him to move or try to look around him. If you can't see it, you can't stop it.
