Finland is still glowing after their world junior squad captured the 2016 World Junior Championship title. In an effort to commemorate the country’s memorable gold medal at the tournament, Finnish Post is offering a personalized stamp through its online store.

The stamp features the celebration immediately following the gold-medal winning overtime goal, which was scored by Kasperi Kapanen early in the extra frame. Along with Kapanen (No. 24), Finland’s Miro Keskitalo (No. 3) and Vili Saarijarvi (No. 18) are featured in the stamp, which uses a photo taken by Yelena Rusko following the overtime goal.

“This is a tribute to the entire team and to the excellent World Junior Championship that were held in Finland. I would like to thank, once more, the Finnish fans who cheered the team during the amazing tournament with great enthusiasm,” said Timo Backman, sports director of the Finnish Ice Hockey Association.

The stamp was designed by Posti’s Susanna Rumpu and Ari Lakaniemi.

“We wanted the stamp to highlight the positive energy the junior ice hockey team served to the people throughout the tournament, both at the rink and in the interviews that radiated joy and confidence,” said Posti design manager Tommi Kantola.

The World Junior Championship victory was the fourth in Finland’s history and second time they’ve won the tournament on home ice. Finland also won gold on home ice at the 1998 World Junior Championship with a team lead by Olli Jokinen.

Finland has bestowed the honor of a stamp on prior gold medal-winning ice hockey players, too. In 2011, Mikael Granlund found himself on a stamp for his lacrosse-style goal at the World Championship. His tally helped propel Finland to the final of the tournament. Finland won gold with a 6-1 victory over Sweden in the final.
