Flames begin four-game road trip at St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (Ticker) -- Captain Jarome Iginla and the Calgary

Flames will visit the St. Louis Blues on Friday, kicking off a

tough four-game road trip.

After the Blues, the Flames will face the New York Rangers,

Montreal Canadiens and Detroit Red Wings on the road. The

Rangers and Canadiens both made the Eastern Conference

semifinals last season and the Red Wings won the Stanley Cup.

Calgary will also have to rebound from a 3-1 loss to the Dallas

Stars on Tuesday, which snapped a three-game winning streak.

Despite the setback, the Flames have won five of their last

seven.

As usual, Iginla leads the Flames in virtually every offensive

category. He has 12 goals and 17 assists, ranking eighth in the

NHL in points.

The Blues, who have lost three of their previous four contests,

are trying to bounce back from a shutout loss to the Minnesota

Wild. St. Louis managed just 22 shots during Wednesday's 4-0

setback.

It was the end of a winning streak for goaltender Chris Mason,

who suffered his first loss since November 12.
