CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- The Calgary Flames will aim for

their fourth straight victory Wednesday when they host the

Edmonton Oilers in the latest edition of the "Battle of

Alberta."

The Flames have been one of the NHL's hottest clubs for more

than a month, posting a 10-2-3 record over their last 15

contests.

Miikka Kiprusoff made 22 saves and Eric Nystrom ended a 25-game

scoring drought with a shorthanded goal, lifting Northwest

Division-leading Calgary to a 2-1 victory over the Minnesota

Wild on Monday.

Kiprusoff is 21-10-3 with a 2.81 goals-against average, .902

save percentage and three shutouts this season.

The Oilers had their three-game winning streak snapped Tuesday,

suffering a 3-2 setback to the Ottawa Senators

Captain Ethan Moreau and rookie Liam Reddox tallied and Shawn

Horcoff had two assists for Edmonton, which has not won four in

a row since the start of the season.

The Oilers won both their previous meetings with the Flames this

season.
