Flames meet Oilers eyeing fourth straight road win

Calgary (34-18-6) at Edmonton (29-25-4) 10:00 p.m. EST

EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- The Calgary Flames look to

continue their winning ways on the road Saturday when they visit

the Edmonton Oilers.

The Flames are 4-0-2 over their last six games following four

straight regulation losses and have won each of their last three

contests away from home, including a 3-2 overtime victory

against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday.

Defenseman Adrian Aucoin scored the game-winning goal with 70

seconds left in the extra session for Calgary, which owns the

top spot in the Northwest Division with 74 points, eight more

than the second-place Vancouver Canucks (29-21-8).

The Flames can move closer to the division title against their

Northwest rival Oilers, who return home after dropping the last

two meetings of a four-game road trip.

Edmonton endured a pair of 4-2 losses to the San Jose Sharks and

Dallas Stars to conclude the swing and have managed two goals or

fewer in of its last 10 losses. The Oilers are 10-1-0 when

recording three or more tallies since the calendar turned to

2009.
