Flames try to continue surge against Senators

Ottawa (12-15-5) at Calgary (19-11-4) 10:00 p.m. EST

CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- The Calgary Flames are hoping the

Christmas break does not break their momentum.

The Flames look to earn points for the sixth straight game on

Saturday when they visit the Ottawa Senators.

Calgary has posted a 3-0-3 record in its last six contests,

including a 4-3 victory against the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday.

Michael Cammalleri and Mark Giordano each recorded a goal and an

assist against the Ducks, helping the Flames avoid their first

four-game losing streak at home since November 14-21, 2002.

Captain Jarome Iginla and Craig Conroy each had two assists in

support of Miikka Kiprusoff, who turned aside 30 shots for

Calgary, which has endured two regulation losses in 10 games

during December.

The Senators have been on the opposite end of the spectrum,

posting a 1-3-0 record in their last four games.

Ottawa, which sits in last place in the Northeast Division, has

won only four times in 10 games (4-5-1) this month.
