Fleury, Penguins seek second straight win

Montreal (18-9-6) at Pittsburgh (19-12-4), 7:00 p.m. EST

PITTSBURGH (Ticker) -- The Pittsburgh Penguins did not have much

success without starting goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury. With the

23-year-old back from injury, their fortunes have turned.

Fleury and the Penguins seek consecutive victories for the first

time in over a month when they host the Montreal Canadiens on

The Penguins failed to generate any momentum and have not won

two in a row since enjoying a season-high, six-game winning

streak from November 1-15.

A major reason for their struggles stemmed from being without

Fleury for 13 contests. However, he stopped 37 shots and helped

the Penguins edge the New Jersey Devils, 1-0, on Friday -

Fleury's fifth straight start since returning to the lineup.

Fleury has yielded two total goals in his last two starts after

giving up 11 in the first three games of his return.

Montreal begins a four-game road trip and will play 11 of its

next 15 contests away from home.

The Canadiens are 7-5-2 as the visitors, but all five of those

regulation losses have come in their last eight road games.

After winning two in a row, they suffered a 3-2 overtime loss to

the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday. With that setback, Montreal

ended a stretch of 10 of 11 at home - including a 4-3 overtime

win over Buffalo last Saturday.
