SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers winger David Booth was released from a Philadelphia hospital Sunday, a day after sustaining a concussion on a hit from Flyers captain Mike Richards.

Also Sunday, the NHL said Richards will not be suspended for the hit. He was given a major penalty for interference and a game misconduct for intent to injure.

Booth left the ice on a stretcher with 2:55 left in the second period following the blow to the face. The Flyers won the game 5-1.
