Flyers aim for third straight win vs. Panthers

Philadelphia (25-12-9) at Florida (21-17-8), 7:30 pm EST

SUNRISE, Florida (Ticker) -- For the second time in two weeks,

the Philadelphia Flyers will make a two-game stop in the

"Sunshine State."

The Flyers will seek their third consecutive victory Tuesday,

visiting the Florida Panthers to open a three-game road trip.

Philadelphia, which started its current two-game winning streak

with a 3-2 shootout triumph over the Panthers on January 16,

will also travel to Tampa Bay and St. Louis this week.

Before the All-Star break, Mike Knuble netted a pair of goals in

Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Atlanta Thrashers. All-Star Jeff

Carter and Simon Gagne each had two assists for the Flyers, who

are 6-2-2 over their last 10 contests.

Florida, which is trying to avoid a third straight loss, is

coming off its first regulation setback this month.

Before suffering a 4-1 loss to the Dallas Stars on Wednesday,

the Panthers had gone 5-0-3 this January.
