Flyers forward Gagne, goalie Niittymaki both undergo operations

Gagne, who led the Flyers with 41 goals and 68 points, was expected to need up to two months for a complete recovery.

Flyers goalie Antero Niittymaki had surgery on his left hip Friday and was expected to need about 10 weeks to recover. Niittymaki, a restricted free agent, won only nine games this season and had similar surgery on his right hip last year.
