Flyers look to continue dominance of Islanders

NY Islanders (10-15-2) at Philadelphia (13-7-6), 7:00 p.m. EST

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia Flyers eye their

seventh consecutive victory over the New York Islanders when the

two teams meet on Tuesday.

Philadelphia has won nine of the last 10 meetings overall,

including two thus far this season.

The Flyers have played overtime games in each of their last

three contests and are coming off a 2-1 victory over Carolina on

Saturday.

Jeff Carter tallied the game-winner - his team-high 19th goal of

the season - to lift the Flyers at 3:44 of the extra session.

New York has lost three straight games and five of its last six

overall. The Islanders have been outscored, 14-5, during its

recent skid.

Captain Bill Guerin and Mike Sillinger scored in New York's 4-2

loss to Toronto on Monday.
