Friday's NHL preview: Canucks versus Sharks

Friday's playoff game involving a Canadian team:

Vancouver at San Jose, 9 p.m. ET.

Canucks—Vancouver rides a wave of momentum into San Jose after taking a 2-0 series lead in stunning fashion. The Canucks won the opener 3-2 before routing San Jose 7-3 in Game 2. The Sedins—Daniel and Henrik—continue to give the Sharks fits, with Daniel scoring twice in Wednesday's blowout.

Sharks—San Jose needs to keep its collective temper in check after Game 2 spiralled out of control due to lack of discipline. Ben Eager's drilling of Daniel Sedin late in the second period only served to fire up the Canucks, and led to a numerous needless San Jose penalties.
