From the When-You-Wish-Upon-A-Star Department: Here is a Stanley Cup made out of bacon
There's been no scientific study to confirm it, but one suspects the
Venn diagram that features hockey fans and those who enjoy eating bacon is as close to a single circle as it gets. And those who fit into both categories will be intrigued by a Montreal restaurant's new creation: a replica Stanley Cup made entirely of bacon. Montreal's
Bar Brutus came up with the original idea, and
by the looks of it, the Bacon Cup – or the "Salty Cup", as the bar is calling it – wouldn't last very long in front of a group of fans:
The Salty Cup would be a tremendous way for the Canadiens to celebrate a Stanley Cup win this spring. But who's kidding who: it will be tremendous regardless of whether the Habs win it all.
