The Edmonton Oilers are looking to extend their win streak to eight games tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks. This is the first time that Connor Bedard has faced the Oilers and Connor McDavid.

The Oilers find themselves with 25 points - three points out of a Wild Card position in the Western Conference. The Arizona Coyotes have 28 points for the second Wild Card with the Nashville Predators sitting at 30 points for the first Wild Card position.
McDavid vs Bedard is the story for tonight's game. Will the youngster elevate his game when playing the best players in the league? Spectators will find out first hand tonight.
The Oilers have been playing stingy defensively while still scoring at an impressive rate. Regardless of where the Blackhawks are at in the standings they cannot take their opponents for granted.

They simply cannot take their foot off of the gas, plain and simple. If they continue playing the way they have on this win streak they should come away with two points.
The best way to do that is to make sure that someone is all over Bedard whenever he is in the Oilers end of the ice.
Game starts at 8PM Mountain Time.
