The Edmonton Oilers will look to extend their seven-game winning streak into an eight-game winning streak tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Oilers will also look to maintain their playoff position.

The Blackhawks shocked the hockey world with a 4-3 victory over the Calgary Flames on Sunday night. That has been one of the few bright spots in the Blackhawks season.
The other bright spot is presently injured with a broken jaw. They don't have the same amount of skill in the lineup with Connor Bedard out - but they can still out-work teams.
The biggest thing for the Oilers is to not let the loss of so many NHLers deter themselves from relentlessly attacking the opposition. They can't let the Blackhawks work their way into this game. They need to be brutal and relentless from first puck drop.
The Oilers have a few guys that need to get going - Evander Kane and Connor Brown. Brown hasn't scored all year and Kane is on a severe dry spell. Hopefully a game like this can get both players going.
Puck drop for the game will be just after 6:30 PM Mountain Time. It will be televised on Sportsnet.
