Grand Rapids Griffins centre Pare named AHL player of the week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Grand Rapids Griffins centre Francis Pare was named American Hockey League player of the week Monday.

Pare had seven points (three goals, four assists) and a plus-7 rating to help the Griffins win all four of their games last week.

The 21-year-old rookie form Lemoyne, Que., has 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) in 15 games for Grand Rapids this season.
