Greentree scores twice, Skille has winner as Rockford downs Moose 6-3

WINNIPEG - Kyle Greentree scored twice as the Rockford IceHogs defeated the Manitoba Moose 6-3 Saturday night in American Hockey League action.

Rockford trailed 2-1 after the first period, but second-period goals from Greentree, Evan Brophey and Jack Skille gave the IceHogs (39-25-6) the lead for good.

Michael Grabner scored in the third period to bring the Moose within one, but Greentree and Danny Bois both scored empty-netters in the final minute to seal the deal.

Richard Petiot also scored for Rockford, while Guillaume Desbiens had a pair for Manitoba (33-29-6).

Corey Crawford made 23 saves for the Moose, while IceHogs netminder Cory Schneider stopped 28 shots.
