Hall should make room for Howe

It’s the time of year when people in the hockey world begin to look at who will be enshrined in hockey's Hall of Fame. I continue to be surprised year after year when Mark Howe gets overlooked for entrance into the Hall.

Now, Howe never won a Cup or a Norris Trophy, but he did combine to score over 400 goals in the WHA and NHL and is in the top 10 all-time in plus/minus in the NHL, which is a good barometer for defensemen.

When you look at his contemporaries who are already in, like Rod Langway, Howe's numbers in every category dwarf Langway's yet the former Capital is in and Howe is out.

I guess my question is: Howe come Mark's not in the Hall?
