Hamilton Bulldogs score 5 unanswered goals to beat Rochester Americans 5-2

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - David Desharnais tallied the game winner as the Hamilton Bulldogs scored five unanswered goals to beat the Rochester Americans 5-2 in American Hockey League play Friday.

Kyle Klubertanz, Ben Maxwell, Andrew Conboy and J.T. Wyman also scored for Hamilton (1-0-0).

Triston Grant and Clay Wilson each scored first-period goals for Rochester (1-2-0) before the Bulldogs went on a scoring run.

Hamilton goaltender Robert Mayer made 16 saves for the win, while at the other end Jacob Markstrom stopped 22 shots.
