Head of class

This year's Hall of Fame class is deserving for what they have accomplished.

Steve Yzerman, Brett Hull, Luc Robitaille and Brian Leetch are examples that both the junior hockey and U.S. college systems do work.

All four players have their name on the Cup and represented their countries in international competition.

Lou Lamoriello's patience and organizational skills (first at Providence as athletic director and then later with the New Jersey Devils as GM) shows the best way of getting the job done is keeping it as simple as possible.

Gentlemen, congratulations! You all deserve it.
