Last week, Vancouver GM Mike Gillis was fired by the Canucks. So when coach John Tortorella sat in front of the assembled media for his season-end, question-and-answer period, TSN’s Farhan Lalji kicked it off with a slip of the tongue.

John Tortorella sat in front of the assembled media for his season-end, question-and-answer period, TSN’s Farhan Lalji kicked it off with a slip of the tongue. It could have gone over much worse, in a much more fire-breathing Tortorella fashion. But the Canucks coach (for now) took it in stride and had a little fun, maybe because he was just looking forward to his afternoon tee time.
