    CAROLINA HURRICANES-Agreed to terms with LW Jussi Jokinen on a two-year contract.

    FLORIDA PANTHERS-Extended qualifying offers to LW David Booth and C David Brine.

    NEW YORK RANGERS-Acquired F Brian Boyle from Los Angeles for a 2010 third-round entry draft pick.

    PITTSBURGH PENGUINS-Signed F Craig Adams to a two-year contract and F Bill Guerin to a one-year contract.

    SAN JOSE SHARKS-Extended qualifying offers to G Thomas Greiss, F Ryane Clowe, F Torrey Mitchell and F Brad Staubitz.
