WASHINGTON CAPITALS-Assigned D John Carlson and RW Andrew Gordon to Hershey (AHL).

American Hockey League

AHL-Suspended Peoria D Tyson Strachan and San Antonio LW Ryan Hollweg for two games apiece as a result of their actions in a Nov. 20 game.

ALBANY RIVER RATS-Recalled F Robert Hennigar from Florida (ECHL). Assigned F Harrison Reed to Florida. Reassigned F Robert Slaney and F Greg Scott to Reading (ECHL). Signed G Adam Munro.

HARTFORD WOLFPACK-Recalled F Devin DiDiomete from Charlotte (ECHL).
