SAN JOSE SHARKS-Traded D Craig Rivet and a 2010 seventh-round draft pick to Buffalo for two second-round draft choices. Acquired D Dan Boyle from Tampa Bay and D Brad Lukowich for a 2009 first-round draft pick, a 2010 fourth-round draft pick, D Matt Carle and D Ty Wishart.

TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS-Signed C Mikhail Grabovski to a one-year contract.

VANCOUVER CANUCKS-Acquired RW Steve Bernier from Buffalo for a 2009 third-round draft pick and a 2010 second-round draft pick. Signed C Mark Cullen.
