PITTSBURGH PENGUINS-Assigned D Jon D'Aversa to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) from Wheeling (ECHL), acquired centre David Gove from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for left wing Joe Jensen.

MANITOBA MOOSE-Recalled D Matt Kelly from Victoria (ECHL).

SYRACUSE CRUNCH-Recalled G Dan LaCosta from Elmira (ECHL).


ECHL-Suspended Alaska D Peter Metcalf for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount for his actions following a game on Jan. 27 and Augusta LW Garrett Winder for three games and fined him an undisclosed amount for his actions in a game on Jan. 29.

ELMIRA JACKALS-Announced Columbus (NHL) has assigned G Dan LaCosta to Syracuse (AHL).

UTAH GRIZZLIES-Announced D Jeff Dwyer has been recalled to Bridgeport (AHL).
