DALLAS STARS-Signed Brett Hull and Les Jackson, co-general managers, through the 2010-11 season.

MINNESOTA WILD - Signed D Maxim Noreau to multi-year contract.

NEW JERSEY DEVILS-Re-signed D Mike Mottau and D Sheldon Brookbank.

VANCOUVER CANUCKS-Agreed to terms with Alain Vigneault, coach, on a contract extension through the 2009-10 season. Fired Barry Smith and Mike Kelly, assistant coaches.

WASHINGTON CAPITALS-Signed D Karl Alzner to a three-year contract. Extended their affiliation agreement with Hershey (AHL) through the 2009-10 season.
