NHL-Suspended N.Y. Islanders F Chris Simon 30 games, without pay, for stepping on Pittsburgh RW Jarkko Ruutu during a game on Dec. 15. Suspended Carolina F Craig Adams, without pay, for a high-sticking event in a game on Dec. 18.
